Dear readers,

I know it's been far too long since I wrote something on here. Life hasn't given me the time to do so sadly. Tomorrow is three weeks to Jamie's and my wedding. Time has gone so fast since we got engaged.

Wedding planning is going well, almost at the end of it which I am very glad, it has taken up a lot of time, though I'm happy how it's coming together. It's been a blessing to have family and friends come and help.

One of the hardest things these past months was that my oma had a stroke and her whole left side is paralyzed. This has resulted in her moving into a rest home. This has made for some very long days as I have ended up most days going and helping her with dinner. It's also been very special to spend so much time with her before I move to Nelson. It's been a very emotional and physically tiring time.

I have still been working, most weeks it's 3.5 days but sometimes it's been close to five days. One of those days has been looking after little Abigail whom I have been with since 2.5 , it's going to be very sad saying goodbye. I have also the last few months looked after two boys, o what fun. I have loved it, it's been busy and fun to look after boys for once. The rest of the time is a few cleaning jobs on the side.

The past five day I have spent in Hastings on a family holiday. What a needed break! It's done me a lot of good to just forget about wedding planning and not having to get up for work. I spent the time, knitting, reading, a few family trips out and sleeping. Sadly it had to come to an end and now I'm on my way back home. Sitting on a bus and watching the sky get darker and darker. Back to work tomorrow and then to visit Jamie for the last time before he comes up for the wedding. Time is going fast and the next time I look at this will be as Mrs. Van Berkel.
